	Grand Poobah and the driving force behind Memphis Motion!!! Joan is known as the Elvis Lady; the big lady with the big voice and the indomitable spirit of goodwill. Originally hitting the spotlight as a dancer and then as an award winning female Elvis Impersonator; Joan has evolved into the effervescent champion of the performing arts and one of the most popular entertainers in the City.  With more than 27 years of stage experience behind her and an impressively long musical resume, Brantford's Rock and Roll Diva owns the centre spotlight. Whether she's belting out rock and roll or crooning ballads; Joan's powerful pipes, matched with her comical antics on stage and an innate ability to work a room like nobody's business, has allowed Joan the honour of entertaining more than 500,000 people in Canada and the U.S. She has the ability to sing anything: Rock, Disco, Country, Pop, Broadway, Standards, Blues, Jazz - nothing stops her. Joan LIVES to perform, She LOVES to Rock and it shows!!! And not only can this girl sing, she can also dance rings around most girls half her age.  While her main love is definitely Rock n Roll, the softer ballads ooze out of Joan with tenderness. She has a repertoire of more than 800 songs. On occasion, Joan also takes on her award-winning and vocally haunting salute to Janis Joplin. Me and Bobby McGee and Piece of My Heat are amazing. The single mother of 15 year old BJ, is definitely one busy lady. Joan's other projects include directing the Brantford Cabaret and managing her son's rock band; Rough Justice.  For a list of Joan's other projects, just click on our pink navigational bar.  Apart from these, Joan is constantly producing some kind of charitable fundraiser or involved in organizing a major entertainment showcase of goodwill. 	Rosie is the powerhouse of Memphis Motion and the lady with the big pipes and an even bigger heart. She is our MAMA.  Rosie is one of our original cast members; touring with us since 1998. Her ultra magnificent vocal ability sets her apart from everyone... past or present, in the group. Rosie can croon like nobody else and she belts out songs effortlessly. She makes every song her own. Singing is her passion and when Rosie sings the songs she loves... she proves to all listeners; that with a smile and a voice...anyone can be taken back to yesteryear. Rose's powerful pipes and rich alto voice allow her to recreate the sounds of Patsy Cline, the Mamas and the Papas, the Everly Brothers, the Platters, the Beatles and other rocking groups; all of which she does with ease and confidence. When this lady starts singing her signature songs; couples quickly converge upon the dance floor. Her favourites are Smoke Gets In Your Eyes and Delilah, which she belts out with an untouchable brilliance. However, it's her haunting recreation of Patsy Cline's Sweet Dreams & Crazy that brings our fans to their feet in thunderous applause, always yelling for more. Our audiences adore Rose. Rose complements Memphis Motion's diversified group with her lead and background vocals during all of our 50s & 60s and Elvis showcases. With her beautiful smile and elegant nature, she adds class to the stage and within our entire show. We always joke with our audiences that due to her depth of volume, Rosie really doesn't need a microphone. We're NOT joking!!
	Alicia, our 17 year old dynamo, was discovered while singing in Starr Sensations and taking vocal lessons from Joan.  Both of them share a mutual bond...ELVIS.  Due to her obvious love of the KING and her definite knack for singing the Oldies; Alicia was our first choice when it came time to add new vitality to the group.  Only in the show for a one night trial; Rosie turned to everyone and over the mic said "We're keeping this kid" and the rest is HERstory.  Our sweet angelic teenager has made an incredible impact on everyone.  Alicia is now entering her 5th year with Memphis Motion. It has been exhilarating to watch her grow from a shy youngster lacking confidence and then morphing into one of our most dedicated and gifted performers ever. What this vibrant young songbird may lack in years, she certainly makes up for in performance oomph! Her never ending smile and total love for the Oldies is abundant in every song she croons.  Alicia is able to recreate the harmonies of yesteryear with gentle ease and then can transform into a show stopping diva; reminiscent of Brenda Lee or Connie Francis. Look forward to our lovely young lady singing such wonderful classics as Leader Of The Pack, I Want To Be Wanted, Just One Look, To Know Him Is To Love Him and other well known teeny bopper hits from yesteryear. Alicia has a remarkable gift and adores being a part of Memphis Motion. We all feel exactly the same.  She's a brat but we love her!!  :) Kudos go out to her parents; Larry and Laura...our fabulous Rocking Road Crew!
	MJ began performing with us during the summer of 2006 and it's been an addition that has delighted fans and created an abundance of energy and elegance into our show.  MJ brings with her a smile that will light up any room and a voice that is so remarkably like Anne Murray's, you'll swear the Canadian Legend is right in the room.  She has an innate ability to make every song fresh and filled with vitality and happiness. Our elegant statuesque beauty has also added a touch of class to the stage. She always looks like a million dollars and sings like she's been doing this for years.  MJ is a veteran of several church choirs but this is her first 'real' singing opportunity.  Watch out for our model singing hits such as: Help Me Make It Through The Night, Baby I'm Yours,  Johnny Angel, Harper Valley P.T.A. and some classic Anne Murray. Welcome Aboard The Crazy Train!!!
	Our Charlie Sheen Elvis has been touring with us (on and off) since 2000. Geph has shook up the MM stage in approximately 400 shows and in front of more than 200,000 people.  While he enjoys a very lucrative and busy solo career; most of the time he's sharing the stage with MM and causing rock 'n' roll mayhem.  We've always enjoyed a long standing friendship and partnership with Geph and we are all thrilled to have him as an integral part of our rocking team.  He is undoubtedly one of the most popular and talented ETAs on the circuit.  Geph is the 2006 Provincial Grand Champion of Ontario.  He is a charismatic handsome fellow who has also won several People's Choice Awards in Ontario, Buffalo and Quebec.  Our resident King has always been lauded as an audience charmer and believes in singing with and to his fans IN the audience rather than being on stage.  His trademark is table dancing, which his fans thoroughly enjoy.  Geph is the People's Champion and he is a fantabulous Performer, Emcee, Vocalist & Comedian.  Legendary ETA Stephen Kabakos said of Geph; "He has that pure Black Velvet sound that Elvis possessed in the 50s, a sound most dream about". Now, if he could only get his words right!!!
